Breeding

Briar Rose Alpacas has many outstanding herd sires that we offer for breeding to your female alpaca.  We encourage drive-by breedings, when possible and can offer discounts when a drive-by is used.  Not sure what a drive-by breeding is?  You behavior test your female and when she is ready for breeding, give us a call and bring her to us.  We'll have the herd sire you have booked for the breeding ready when you get here.  We use a pen that is in the yard.  Your girl walks in the pen, our guy walks in the pen and in less than an hour the breeding is done and you are on your way home, with your female in tow.

Agisting

When you purchase one or more, breeding stock alpaca from Briar Rose Alpacas we offer complimentary board for up to three months.  This service is offered to help new owners get their property ready for their new alpaca additions or to give the new owner a little time to make other agisting arrangements.

Services included in agisting are:

Shelter, Pasture, Hay & Feed daily, Fresh water daily

Medical care, medications and any other care other than those mentioned above are the financial responsibility of the owner.
